Simply start a meeting below, choose to use your microphone and optional camera (webcam). Send others the link via message and when they knock from the waiting room, let them in. You can share your screen, so besides having a quiet, “online face-to-face”, chat maybe consider watching a Youtube video or movie together, or aim your webcam into the room and dance to a Youtube music video! Simply close the meeting when you are done. Up to four people can be in the MG Video Chat Room (Whereby) room at one time.

MG Video Meet Options
Mingle Grove offers two video meeting program options: Zoom Meetings for Groups and Whereby Meetings for individuals.
Whereby Video Chats
“Whereby” video meetings are intended for free chats by Mingle Grove members for up to four people. The link above uses Whereby. We recommend setting up a free account at Whereby (or paid account for more features), and arrange online chats separate from your Mingle Grove account using MG messaging to pass the url for a chat.
Zoom Meetings
Generally, Zoom Meetings on Mingle Grove, are offered in MG custom Groups when setup by the Group Organizer, and they will use the Group Organizer’s own Zoom Account (Free or Premium depending on features needed). By default, you may use MG’s free account, but are subject to availability and limited to forty minutes with up to 100 people attending.
The Zoom meeting option is great for regular Group Member gatherings for discussions or even casual chat with new friends. For those that don’t use Zoom at work, this form of online communication is more interesting than a phone call, showing your new friend’s live face, although you don’t have to turn on the webcam to meet (which is then an anonymous phone call).
Setup is done by the Group Organizer under the Group menu Manage – Zoom. We recommend using the Wizard for setup.
