At Mingle Grove, we’re dedicated to creating a secure and trustworthy environment for all our members. It’s our top priority to ensure that everyone is exactly who and where they claim to be.
Verification
In light of the problems experienced with the big dating websites, we made a decision to require all members to participate in our Verification process before you can message others. This initial investment into your MG experience helps lay the foundation for a community where authenticity and trust flourish. We appreciate your understanding and patience, and feel confident you will enjoy a better experience going forward.
To further enhance our community’s integrity, we’re vigilant about monitoring for any suspicious activity. This includes any account with inconsistent information like age or location discrepancies. To keep our community comfortable, we empower our members with the ability to report and block profiles, comments and pictures, that seem off or cause discomfort. Your vigilance is invaluable to us, and together, we can tackle these challenges head-on. However, it’s also important to approach reporting with integrity; we’re all here to support each other.
At this time, to ensure members are available locally, we are only accepting members located near currently served Regions (Oregon) Let us know if you would like us to add your Region?
After passing Verification you will be permitted to message members and a Verified Checkmark will display by your name.
Primary Verification Methods (two required)
- Full Name - When you registered, you provided your full name and city. We check if your name is real and connected to the city you list. (We keep your name and city in our database)
- Personal ID (Preferred) - Take a picture of the front and back of your driver's license, the primary page of your passport or other primary ID, then send it to us for verification. (Allow one day for results. We delete ID copies on completion)
- OR
- Mailing Address - You provide your mailing address in our Verification form, we send a postcard to this address with a verification code and you submit that code back into the verification form. (Allow a week for arrival. On verification, the address is then deleted)
Support Verifications (optional, adds a second checkmark)
- Phone - Provide your phone number and we will call or text you. This method is used in combination with required Primary verification.
- Utility Bill - Take a picture of an electricity or water bill in your name showing submitted address and send us the digital copy. This method is used in combination with required Primary verification.
- Profile Pictures - Send five second phone video as confirmation same person as in pictures.
Note: Verification information is deleted at conclusion of process.
