Mingle Grove is easy to use, especially in our just-starting phase. Think of it as a "get-to-know someone" place, rather than just a dating site, and you will better appreciate what MG has to offer.
Getting Started
Register for free by choosing a Display Name (it can be your first name), then entering your gender, age and city. Then choose which group you want to join.
MG will strive to keep basic dating available for free.Your Profile
Your Profile introduces you! Spend some time on it? Or just upload a Profile picture and the rest is optional.
We recommend taping an Introduction Video with your phone! And MG offers an extensive area to share your unique stories.MG Members

Getting Started
Sign in for free with your name and email address. (No credit card required) Choose a display name that other members will see. (use your first name?) Choose the group you want to join first: Traditional Dating,
Non-Traditional Dating or Activity Partner groups. Look for the confirmation email and click the link. You are now part of the Portland area MG community… Welcome!
After logging in, you will land on the MG Members page where everyone’s profile pictures display. Before exploring people, click on your profile and upload your profile picture.
Now tell us about yourself… there are a ton of questions available to reflect your personality. Some are required like age, city and gender. But most are optional. We recommend presenting yourself as thoroughly as you will want to have available in other possible new friends including a video, pictures and lots of info and stories
What do they want to know and what do you want them to know? Easy!
Your Profile
Introduce yourself! The MG Profile provides an extensive set of prodding questions to get your stories told for others to get to know you. Be as thorough as you feel it benefits you. Do you have a passion? Show pictures! Describe your personality and why you are here. Who are you looking for? Spell it out. MG provides many ways to show your true self.
A Video Introduction Please?
Consider trying out a ten second video introduction on your dating profile—it can be a gentle and personal touch. Using your phone, take a moment to share a bit about yourself, your hobbies, or what makes you smile. Have fun with it!
Don’t like it? Try again? Shine a light in your direction for better appearance. If you’re comfortable, feel free to edit it, but no pressure – even a simple, unfiltered snippet can work wonders.
It’s entirely optional, of course, but think of it as a soft invitation for potential connections to get to know the real you in a more authentic way.
Extensive Profile
Some see their Profile as a great place to tell someone who you are with more heart than just showing a picture and a chance to describe who you are looking for in another person… others see it as too much homework. Your call.
MG should be easy and fun as well as helping you find you new friends. It will notify you if a new connection makes contact, so you don’t have to be on MG every day. (But you might want to.)
We promise to keep the costs as low as possible, so you can leave your MG profile up without breaking the bank.

And picture starting your own Mingle Group! You decide the subject and set the privacy: open, by accepted request, or make your group hidden, so it’s only discovered by invitation.
